Read the email Joan sent to Susy. Dear Susy, As I told you before, Curitiba is a very organized city.  The airport is far from downtown, but I recommend you take the bus there. It is a regular bus, but you can only take it (or leave it) at specific stops that have the shape of a tube. You'll see many of them around town. They are magnificent. There are many parks there too. Most of them were designed to help avoid floods. My favorite one was Tanguá Park. The sunset there is amazing! Other parks like Barigui and Tingui are also beautiful and you get the chance to see some capybaras there.  You definitely have to visit MOM, or the Eye Museum, as they call it. It is fantastic on the outside and there are great expositions there too. The Egyptian Museum is also worth seeing. They have a real mummy there! The Italian neighborhood, Santa Felicidade, has great restaurants and you can see a bit of the culture of the immigrants. They produce some excellent grape juice. Well, there are many places more to visit and many things to do in Curitiba. I suggest you take the tour bus - a green bus which goes to specific sights - and see as many places as possible. If you have time, take the train and go to Morretes, a nearby city, it is a great trip and the typical food, Barreado, is delicious. Tell me everything when you get back.
