Representação decimal
É a representação de uma fração em forma decimal, ou seja, o quociente da divisão entre o numerador (número que fica na parte de cima da fração) e o denominador (número de baixo).
Existem diversos casos envolvendo frações, mas, aqui, vamos revisar a divisão por dividendo inteiro maior e menor que o divisor, que requere algumas técnicas para efetuar os cálculos corretamente:
- dividendo maior: devemos pôr números no quociente que multipliquem o divisor e façam o dividendo chegar a zero;
- dividendo menor: devemos aumentar as casas decimais do dividendo até elas ficarem maiores ou iguais às do divisor e repetir o processo.
Nesta última, para cada casa adicionada, também é um zero a mais no quociente, sendo que uma vírgula deve acompanhar o primeiro zero. Agora, vamos a um exemplo prático:
