HOW MANY/ HOW MUCH
1) - How many (quantos/quantas) é usado para perguntar pela quantidade de algo contável.

Exemplos:
a) How many boys are there in your classroom? (Quanto meninos há na sua turma?)
b) How many dogs do you have? (Quantos cachorros você tem?)

A palavra “Many” sozinha é usado com substantivos contáveis. Significa “muitos/muitas”.
Exemplos:
• The girl has many aunties. (A menina tem muitas tias.)

2) - How much (quanto/quanta) é usado para perguntar pela quantidade de algo incontável.
Exemplos:
a) How much water shall we drink a day? (Quanto de água devemos beber por dia?)
A palavra “Much” sozinha, é usado com substantivos incontáveis. Significa muito/muita.
Exemplos:
• Let’s go! We don’t have much time. (Vamos! Nós não temos muito tempo.)
• There’s not much water in the jar. (Não há muita água na jarra.)

 3) “How much” também é uma expressão utilizada para perguntar pelo “preço de algo”. E SIGNIFICA ”QUANTO CUSTA...?”
