MAUD

ELIZABETH

Blinkin' knickers, Maud! We're going to need some help if we're going to stop the most sinister pain in the universe!

MAUD

ELIZABETH

Tristan turns and sees Maud and Elizabeth. He grins an evil grin.

EXT. A PARK - BACK IN TIME

A young MAUD is sitting in a park listening to some flute music, when suddenly a dark shadow casts over her.

. TRISTAN

Would you like some peppermints?

MAUD's eyes light up, but then he studies

TRISTAN more closely, and looks uneasy.

MAUD

I don't know, you look kind of sinister.

TRISTAN

Me? No. I'm not sinister. I'm the least sinister pain in the world.

MAUD

Wait, you're a pain?

MAUD runs away, screaming.

INT. AFRICA - PRESENT DAY

TRISTAN

ELIZABETH

(To MAUD) You ran away?

MAUD turns to TRISTAN.

MAUD

MAUD runs away.

She turns back and shouts.

MAUD

I mean, I am running away, but I'll be back - with guns.

TRISTAN

I'm not scared of you.

MAUD

You should be.

INT. NIGERIA - LATER THAT DAY

MAUD and ELIZABETH walk around searching for something.

MAUD

I feel sure I left my guns somewhere around here.

ELIZABETH

Are you sure? It does seem like an odd place to keep deadly guns.

MAUD

You know nothing Elizabeth Uganda.

ELIZABETH

We've been searching for ages. I really don't think they're here.

Suddenly, TRISTAN appears, holding a pair of guns.

TRISTAN

Looking for something?

ELIZABETH

Crikey, Maud, he's got your guns.

MAUD

Tell me something I don't already know!

ELIZABETH

The earth's circumference at the equator is about 40,075 km.

MAUD

I know that already!

ELIZABETH

I'm afraid of pain.

TRISTAN

(appalled) Dude!

While TRISTAN is looking at ELIZABETH with disgust, MAUD lunges forward and grabs her deadly guns. He wields them, triumphantly.

ELIZABETH

When I said I'm afraid of pain, you know I was just trying to distract the pain don't you?
