The fox and the lion
Once upon a time (era uma vez) the king of the forest, the lion, told (disse) all the animals
that (que) he was ill (doente) and that he was going to die coon (morrer em breve). He asked
them (convidou-os) to visit him. The tiger, the wolf the sheep, the cow went into the lion's cave
but the fox, who (que) was very clever (esperta), waited (esperou) outside
None (nenhum) of the animals came out (sairam). After (após) a long time, the lion came out
and said to the fox:
Why don't you visit me, my friend? I am dying (morrendo)."
The fox answered:
- I saw (vi) many animals go into (dentro) the cave, but none of them have come out. I did not
want to crowd you. When (quando) some animals came out I will go into your cave your majesty.
