Emily is asking her mom to a story. The little girl loves to listen to stories, she
and her mother are in their living room. They were watching TV, but it got
boring. So, Emily asked to a new story from her favorite book: Magic Wor(l)
d (It’s a pun on the words ‘world’ and ‘word’).
Mother: Baby, were you liking the TV program?
Emily: I weren’t! It was so boring and I don’t like TV. I prefer books, but I’m
so tired to read right now.
Mother: Ok, then! Which one do you want? Pick up!
Emily (looking to an interesting title in the book): This one! It seems very nice!
Please, read it, I am listening!
Mother: Ok! Other stories from fairy tales. There was a girl, who really liked
animals. When she was sitting in the woods, all the squirrels, birds, reptiles
and other animals went to her and enjoyed her company. – Are you getting
sleepy, baby?
Emily: No, I am not! I am paying attention!
Mother (continuing to read): Everyday, the girl and the animals got together.
Once, they were playing in the river, they were swimming and doing funny
things when…
She sees that Emily is sleeping. So, she closes the book, covers her daughter
and kisses her.
Mother: Have nice dreams, baby. You are dreaming and any other story can
wait.

os esquilos, pássaros, répteis e outros animais iam aproveitar a companhia
dela. – Você está pegando no sono, baby?
Emily: Não, eu não estou! Eu estou prestando atenção!
Mãe (continuando a ler): todos os dias, a garota e os animais ficavam juntos.
Uma vez, eles estavam brincando no rio, estavam nadando e fazendo coisas
divertidas quando...
Ela vê que Emily está dormindo. Então, ela fecha o livro, cobre sua filha e
a beija:
Mãe: Tenha bons sonhos, baby. Você está sonhando e qualquer outra história
pode esperar.

Someday, I will work in a big city and I will be rich. I will have a happy life and I
will have a beautiful wife – my wife will have six children. My children will love
me and I will love my children. I won’t have serious problems and I won’t feel
down every day. I will work from Monday to Saturday - on Sundays, I won’t
work. My wife will help me and I will help her. We will be more than husband
and wife: we will be best friends. I will have a great job and I will love my job.
My family will be a very special family and we will love each other. In our family,
there will be peace, love, faith, dedication, respect and sincerity.
